Installation of EMOOD.

1) Change empass.pwd's value
Change "empass.pwd" to the password you would like to use for Emood and RENAME it! It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you change this password and rename the file. Take note of what you renamed it!

2) Edit "Setmood.pl"
Edit Setmood.pl and adjust the proper variables. Make sure you edit the changed "empass.pwd" file or emood will not function properly!

3) Edit "Emood.pl"
Edit emood.pl and adjust any variables as necessary.

4) Upload
Upload the following files to a directory on your server that has permission to run CGI/PERL scripts.

--smileymood.txt
--smileylist.txt
--smiley.txt
--setemood.pl
--emood.pl
--your password file

5) CHMOD all of these files accordingly. If you experience problems use CHMOD 0777.

6) Edit "Emood.html"
Edit emood.html and change all values as necessary to reflect your installation of emood.

7) Upload additional files
Upload emood.html to your server. Also extract and upload the smiley images. Typical placement of smileys is yoursite/images/smileys.

8) You're done!

If you experience any problems installing EMood please ask someone who can help you install CGI scripts.
